It's beginning to look a lot like Satan.


Well, here is my progress so far. I have taken some detail away from the nostrils, add some directionality to the face, sagged the cheeks more, and added some deep wrinkles. So much more to be done.

Ears!


He has ears now! Need to separate them from the head, but coming along.

Coming along, now the fun really starts.


Not too many changes, but a final look at all proportions and anatomy before bringing in more wrinkles. Now I will start aging him a bit more and show more effect of gravity on the face. I want to also start to add a bit of asymmetry.

Getting the mouth caught up with the rest of the face. Few more big landmarks to hit and I will start some secondary details. A lot of overlapping forms to deal with, it's like his face has 'grown' around his oxygen mask.

Got the mouth blocked in, and I feel the proportions are getting better. Eyes are starting to read the way I want them to, but I feel they cold be more menacing and they will be changed eventually. Also, he still feels more like a healthy, young man rather than old and fragile. I would like to get that worked in now before secondary and tertiary details.

Getting the eyes blocked in, and a little bit of the nose. Mainly trying to nail the proportions of Mr. Satan's unique face. Going to get the mouth in and then re-work all proportions, once I can 'see' his face.

Final Hound Sculpt



Sadly, I have ran out of time for now, so this will be the final sculpt.... for now. Hopefully in the future I will be able to push it further.

Teeth are being sculpted in. Then I will polish the whole face and get the expression to read better. I feel he doesn't come off vicious enough.

Cave Hound



A character I am currently working on for a school project and hopefully for my demo reel in the future. At this point I am still refining shapes and getting a feel for the expression.
