Missed my deadline but I finished the mausoleum. Spec is finished too but maya was giving me problems while I was setting up my lights. When I figure out the problem I'll post a newer pic. Now i will move on to getting things into UDK, making a few more props and getting in all the final little details. I'm looking to make this scene as good as possible even if it takes a little longer than I hoped.

Another update, still not quite finished. I still need to texture in the cracks and breaks in the cement.


An update on where I am on the texture. I'm about 2-3 hours in on the diffuse so far. Trying to finish it tonight.

I finally got a chance to bake the normals. Now to clean up the map and start texturing. Over the next week I am hoping to finish this project and start my demo reel. So, knock on wood, I will have a graveyard this weekend.

Here is the base for the mausoleum, extra faces will be deleted on the final model where the body of the mausoleum will set.


I also went back to my base model and blocked in the door. This is just the model for my sculpt not the final game res. The final model will have gargoyles on the two plateaus by the steps and some sort of pottery along the sides.

This is the pillar to the mausoleum, it's sculpted and ready to bake. I still have to sculpt the other pieces to the pillar and uv the game res.
